Mia enriched my life and the lives of those around her with her love and energy.

She had boundless optimism and zest for life.

She felt she could accomplish anything, and most of the time she did.

Mia was a brilliant flame that burned out all too soon.

But she crammed 100 years of achievement, adventure, and love into her short 53 years.
